Medium Wave stations are still active as well as Long Wave 270 kHz
in the Czech Republic, listeners confirm to Italradio. Due to a mis-interpretation of changes for the "Plus" channel, transferred to FM on 5 January 2016, we were led to believe all the MW network was to be silenced. Our apologies to all our readers and a real good news, finally.
Czech Radio did not ceased its MW and LW broadcasts. They switched some frequencies of "Plus" to other networks, Giovanni Ricci wrote to Italradio after checking the situation. As their web site
http://www.rozhlas.cz/vysilace/portal/, frequencies are now used by "Dvojka" (second programme of CR) on 639 kHz
, 954 kHz , 1332 kHz. A transmitter in Ostrava, also on 639 kHz is relaying "Plus" at 15-23 UTC
as Italradio reported. Long Wave 270 kHz is also still active.
A splendid news and some relief for all listeners.
