A wide choice of Italradio photo archive is now available on a new account on Flickr
, a new step to include social networks within our activities to support Italian speaking radio broadcasting . The account will integrate all photos published on the different platforms operated by Italradio as a part of its work on the year of its 20th anniversary.
On 13 February 2016 the 5th World Radio Day will be celebrated in Florence at Radio Toscana studios. The FM regional station will host Italradio experts together with journalists and technicians focusing on Radio in emergency and relief, this year theme of World Radio Day. Special attention will be paid to Vatican Radio participation to HFCC

Broadcasters and listeners will talk about a foreseeable future for Italian language International radio broadcasting on 12 February 2014, the 82nd Anniversary of the Foundation of Vatican Radio, in Rome, Vatican Radio, Sala Marconi, Palazzo Pio (Piazza Pia 3, at 4 p.m.) and on the eve of World Radio Day 2014.

Vatican Radio new broadcast in DRM to India has received a very positive feedback, listeners report to dx press around the world. "European Perspective" has found a new host. As from 19 June the monthly report in English from Italradio newsdesk will be included in AWR-WRMI "Wavescan" on the third week each month.
DX Partyline comes to its end on May 28-29, 2011. The show first aired
on May 29, 1961, which means that it will celebrate 50 years on the air.
Unfortunately HCJB staff found it was the appropriate time to bring the programme to an end after a long and rich history. A last feature from Italradio will be included on May 21-22, 2011 edition.

News and views about radio in Europe produced at Italradio newsdesk in Florence is hosted by "DX Partyline" on HCJB, on April 30.
On 30 April, 1 and 2 May Vatican Radio will broadcast live from Rome the beatification liturgies on the beatification of the late Pope John Paul II. Multilingual commentary will be relayed on short-, medium-wave and FM to Africa, Europe and Asia. A frequency will be operated from Radio Netherlands station in Madagascar.
Italradio has been invited to take part at the round table to be held on 7 March in Belgrade to discuss the future of international radio services and the attitude the States show about them. On 8 March Serbian International Radio celebrates its 75th anniversary.

As from 29 March 2009 Italradio will increase the offer of Italian speaking broadcasts as a part of its experimental virtual network including news and features from RAI Radio 1, Radio 2 and Radio 3.
On 28 November the Worldwide Virtual Network of Italradio will re-broadcast some Radio Tirana
features, specially recorded by the Italian section.
