Voice of Turkey, Italian Programme Repeat via Satellite

(LC, Jul 04, 2010) - As the broadcast seems to have disappeared from the shortwave range, the night repeat of the Italian programme from the Voice of Turkey is regularly aired via satellite Eutelsat Hotbird 8 over Europe and the Mediterranean.

Listeners trying to tune in to the Voice of Turkey night repeat on SW 9830 kHz report no signal after the broadcast was detected around 1st July.
Italian Section in Ankara confirmed the repeat but gave no frequency.
We are able to confirm Eutelsat 13° East is now transmitting the Italian programme from the Voice of Turkey at 21.30 UTC on the VOT World radio channel (10971 MHz, pol. H, S/R 27500, FEC 3/4).
The last Voice of Turkey printed programme schedule reported 1st July as its expiring date. Are new changes to be expected?
